The p/n is the only identifier on these sockets. I do believe they were made in the USA due to they are Federal surplus. These sockets do have a feature I had not seen before. They have a small cutout which I believe is for the retention ball on a ratchet. Below the cutout is a small plunger which you would depress for ease of removal of the socket from the ratchet.
