1929 Ford Model A Woody wagon formerly of the Sam Pack Collection. Although it was not uncommon to see wood bodied Fords prior to 1929, it was actually the first year it was available as a body style from Ford, credited to Edsel Ford who desired such a vehicle for his estates in Michigan and Maine. Designs were drawn to Edsels request, and body production entrusted to Murray Corporation of America in Detroit, one of Fords principal body suppliers.
