These bars were designed for use on 4 Ton arbor presses where they easily support 8000 lbs. over the anvil wheel slot span of less than 3”. They are also useful as bench blocks, shims, and set-up blocks. Perhaps you could use a pair or more in your shop. Rated maximum yield strength of greater than 52000psi.
