1946 REO wrecker project This is a neat old truck and a cheap wrecker project. The wrecker is an old homemade unit with a hydraulic ram. I intended to build it like the 4x4 truck pictured. You can use a cheap hydraulic pump to have power up and gravity down, or power both ways. A wrecker sling would be the easiest way to make it usable, but a homemade wheel lift would work also.
