For your consideration is this vintage automotive coolant tester, from the 1950's, I think. It would be suitable for testing the old antifreeze types. Probably not the current types. The rubber parts are supple, not dried out. The glass parts are excellent. Not sure about the red stuff in the end of the floater. It might be good to use, but I don't know.
