Tool, Specialty, BOSS Snowplow Installation - Horizontal Hinge. After installing your first BOSS V-Blade plow, you will know what a pain it is to hold the horizontal hinge pin and torque it. I came up with a simple solution. Slide the hinge pin through the assembly, install the washers, thread locker and nut. Place this tool over the end with the tang against the center section and tighten the nut. The item is made from 3/16" mild steel. It is not painted or coated....
