NOT ALL PONTIAC TIMING COVERS ALIGN CORRECTLY If you have seen a harmonic balancer hub extremely worn by the seal lips and have leaks at the seal area, in most cases the timing cover was mis-aligned. This tool centers the timing cover exactly over the crankshaft and when reversed in position, installs the timing seal perfectly. I use it on every engine I build.
