This is a seal remover and install tool, along with a new seal, for the shift shaft seal on Dodge/ Plymouth / Chrysler 727 and 904 transmissions that were made from about 1962 to the mid 1980s. This allows for replacement of this shift shaft seal without the need to remove the valve body and the transmission pan. This will save you a lot of work compared to pulling the valve body.
