This shear attaches to a minimum 14.4-Volt cordless or maximum 7-Amp A/C electric drill. The driveshaft inserts directly into a 3/8-in (10 mm) or 1/2-in (12.7 mm) chuck. The cam end of the driveshaft operates an upper blade to create a smooth scissors cutting action in most common sheet metals.
