I made the crane to change engines here in my diesel shop, and it handles 1100 lb. Cummins engines effortlessly. But I also found it has many other uses around the shop such as unloading trucks, moving heavy object around the shop, lifting components onto workbenches, etc. Hook has a max. height of 9 1/2 feet! Unit breaks down for easy transport in a pickup. No piece is over 4' or 50 lbs....
