About this vehicle 1953 Rolls Royce Silver Dawn Beautiful Car! Original owners purchased new in West Palm Beach in Florida. It was then purchased by a local millionaire and car collector in Charlotte around 1988 who did a complete restoration. The family always affectionately referred to the car as “The Duchess”, as Charlotte is called the Queen City.
