UPDATE - The drivetrain is now fine for street driving. The transfer case was in Low when I was driving it, my mistake. When you put it in High you have a street vehicle you can take anywhere. I apologize for the misinformation. 1981 Jeep CJ-5, with 51,402 miles originally manufactured by AMC, was built back in the early 1990’s to be a force to take on trails and crawling adventures.
